Soon In Zagreb: Promotion of the book "Bosnian kingdom in mid-fifteenth century - King Stjepan Tomas"

On Thursday, 11/17/2016 in Zagreb will be promoted the book by Dr. Mithat Spahic "Bosnian kingdom in mid-fifteenth century - King Stjepan Tomas." The book announced this year by co-publishers: the Bosniac National Community of the city of Zagreb and Zagreb County and the Research Institute "Ibn Sina" in Sarajevo.
This interesting work treats an essential part of the medieval history of Bosnia, which is the result of the doctoral thesis of the author Spahic.On this occasion will will speak : Professor Ivan Balta, Ph.D. Salih Jalimam, editor Prof. Sead Berberović and author himself, Dr. Mithat Spahic.
Moderator is dipl.ing Dzevad Jogunčić.
The promotion will be held at 19 pm at the Bosniak national community for the City of Zagreb and Zagreb County, Ilica 54, Zagreb.

The "Ibn Sina" Research Institute on 28.10.2016 hosted representatives of the legal institutions from region. The Legal Institute in BiH in premises of the Institute "Ibn Sina" hosted the first meeting / consulting of the legal institutions of the region, namely: Institute of Comparative Law from Belgrade, Institute for public administration from Zagreb and the Institute of constitutional law from Ljubljana.

On Thursday, 06 October 2016, a group of professors and students from the Faculty of Theology of the University Tübingen in Germany, visited the Institute "Ibn Sina". During the visit, proffessor Dr. Stefan Schreiner spoke about the activities of the Group for Religious Studies Tübingen University. Professor said, among other things: The aims of establishing this study group is introducing the comparative study of religion and realistic view of religious change in modern times.
Doctor Rouhollah Ghaderi Kangavar, director of the Institute "Ibn Sina", welcomed the distinguished guests from Germany and said that the Research Institute "Ibn Sina" is a bridge of scientific and cultural exchanges between Iran and the Western Balkan countries, especially Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Research Institute "Ibn Sina" Sarajevo will award two scientific prizes in the amount of 3,000 KM (three thousand KM) in the following areas:
- Islamic philosophy,
- Comparative philosophy - a comparative study of Islamic and Western philosophy,
- Cultural history,
- Education and training,
- Tasawwuf and gnosis,
- Political Science and International Relations.
We invite all interested researchers, professors and students to send us their so far unpublished works, master's / doctoral theses, studies, books that have been written in 2015 or the current year in printed form, directly or by email to the Institute not later than January 30. 2017.
Papers can be submitted by regular mail to the Institute’s address or electronically. It is required to indicate “For the Annual Ibn Sina Award” in your mail or e-mail. It is also required to send personal data and a short biography, along with e-mail address and phone number..
