1On Monday, January 22, 2018 Association of Citizens "Steps of Youth" from Stolac in cooperation with the Center for Iranian Studies of the Scientific Research Institute "Ibn Sina" organized Roundtable Discussion "Ahmed Sudi Bošnjak, a commentator of the Persian classics". This event took place in Podgradski Konak in Stolac.

The moderator of this event, Muamer Kodrić, gave a brief explanation of the topic and thanked the Ibn Sina Institute for Cooperation. Doc.dr. Ahmed Zildžić, professor of Oriental-Islamic civilization at the University of Sarajevo, spoke about the general socio-cultural context of the Ottoman Empire, and pointed that Ahmed Saudi Bosnjak was one of a dozen or, perhaps, hundreds of Bosniaks who left behind works in Oriental languages (Persian , Arabic and Turkish). According to Zildžić's opinion, this confirms the success of Bosniaks in adapting to new cultural circumstances, as well as their art and creativity in literature. Doc.dr. Munir Drkic, a professor of Persian language and literature at the University of Sarajevo, gave several clarifications on Ahmed Saudi's comments on Bosniaks on the works of Persian classics, stressing that these are philological comments in which the commentator deals mainly with semantic text. Drkic recalled that Saudi's comments, in addition to their sonnal purpose - that is, clarifying the meaning of the texts - had the role of a manual of the teaching Persian language for turkish learners. Prof.dr. Namir Karahalilović, full professor of Persian language and literature at the University of Sarajevo, and head of the Center for Iranian Studies of the Research "Ibn Sina". explained the importance of the comments of Ahmed Saudi Bosniak from the perspective of science..
