On Friday, February 1, 2019, marking the fortieth anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran began. On behalf of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mahmood Heidari paid tribute to Hajrudin Somun, who as Tanjug correspondent reported in 1979 about the revolution in Iran.

The research institute "Ibn Sina" in Sarajevo has published a new issue of the periodical journal "Znakovi vremena" ( Signs of time) (double issue 80/81). In the first section of this issue devoted to one of the most prominent contemporary Iranian thinkers and philosophers Reza Davarai Ardakani, Saied Abedpour writes about his philosophical attitudes, and this issue brings the text of Professor Ardakaniya on Ethics and Culture. In the section dedicated to theological themes, Almir Fatić writes about the semantic field of the concept of Jahahilah in the Qur'an.

In the new, 12th issue of the digital journal PIS Journal we bring a special section on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. Saeed Abedpour, Farhad Darvishi, Naser Jamalzade, Mohammad Hosni Tabar and Muhammad Reza Hafezniya write about the intellectual, cultural, political and international-religious dimensions of the Islamic Revolution.

Book review has been published in Novi Mualim: About Sufism by Saeid Abedpour

Azra Kasumović, a prominent Bosnian-Herzegovinian researcher of Islamic culture and civilization and a Gazi Husrev-bey librarian in Sarajevo wrote a overview on the book "About Sufism" by Saeid Abedpour. The text is published in the latest issue of magazine Novi Mualim. In his view, the author writes about the significance of this work in the context of contemporary Muslim intellectual debates, as well as a part of the book dealing with critical observations of the place and role of Bosnian tesavuf, facing many challenges.
